Description
The Pronto SB32 is a heavy-duty rebar spiral and profile bending machine designed for construction, reinforcing steel processing, civil works and structural fabrication.
While the SB32 can efficiently form reinforcing bar into rings, circles and continuous spirals, its capabilities extend beyond conventional spiral bending. With the optional NC programmable control system, operators can program bending sequences incorporating curved and straight sections to manufacture a wider variety of repeatable steel profiles.
The machine is built on a robust frame with 12mm panel construction, measuring approximately 1100 × 800 × 850mm and weighing approximately 380kg, providing a stable platform for demanding production environments.
A 4kW motor operating at 1440 r/min drives the bending mechanism, providing a spiral bending speed of approximately 28 r/min. The SB32 accommodates round plain bar from 14–32mm and deformed (ribbed) reinforcing bar from 14–30mm.
An integrated measuring scale assists with accurate adjustment and repeatable sizing of rings, spirals and formed profiles.
The machine can produce spirals from relatively tight diameters through to large-radius forms, with no specified upper limit on maximum spiral diameter within the applicable bar capacity.
NC Programmable Profile Bending
With the optional NC control cabinet and touchscreen HMI, the SB32 provides significantly greater forming flexibility. Operators can enter bending data through the touchscreen to control the bending sequence and produce profiles incorporating different bends and straight sections.

The optional NC control cabinet transforms the SB32 from a conventional spiral bending machine into a more versatile programmable rebar and steel profile bending machine.
A 7-inch touchscreen HMI provides the operator with a digital interface for entering bending parameters and controlling the bending sequence. This allows the machine to produce profiles incorporating multiple bends and straight sections, including U-shaped and other programmed forms, in addition to its standard circular and spiral bending capability.
