Description

The Unitech RMC-6000 is a guillotine-style hydraulic mesh shear that cuts welded wire mesh across its full 6.2 m working width in a single stroke. Twelve upper and twelve lower blades are driven by twin hydraulic pumps delivering 180 kN of cutting force on an 8-second cycle.

On standard 6.0 × 2.4 m sheets, the 6.2 m width cuts along the full sheet length, so a sheet can be split into strips in one stroke. For cutting heavy RL1118 and RL1218 across the sheet, see the RMC-3000.

Controls run on a 24 V circuit, separate from the 415 V 3-phase supply. At approx. 6000 kg, the RMC-6000 is a stationary reo mesh cutting machine for permanent installation in reinforcement suppliers, mesh fabricators and precast plants. Capital Machinery Sales supplies, services and supports workshop rebar machinery across Australia, for over 20 years.

Frequently Asked Questions

What power supply does the RMC-6000 need?

415 V / 50 Hz 3-phase, rated at 11 kW with a 21 A draw.

Which mesh grades can it cut?

Across standard 6.0 x 2.4 m sheets, SL52 to SL102 square mesh and RL718 to RL1218 rectangular mesh.

How much floor space does it need?

The machine measures 3860 x 1800 x 1800 mm and weighs approx. 2500 kg, so plan for a permanent position with room for the infeed conveyor and mesh handling.

RMC-3000 or RMC-6000?

Choose the RMC-3000 to cut across sheets, including heavy RL1118 and RL1218 mesh.
Choose the RMC-6000 to cut along the full 6 m length of a sheet.

What warranty and support is included?

12 months from commissioning, with spare parts held in Melbourne and on-site and remote
fault finding from Capital Machinery Sales.

Should I purchase industrial machinery from a tool shop or reseller, or from an industrial machinery specialist?

Tool shops and general resellers may offer a wide product range, but often lack the specialised knowledge to properly assess applications or provide ongoing technical support. An industrial machinery specialist ensures the right machine is selected and fully supported long after purchase. In most cases, buying directly from the importer or specialist also results in a lower purchase cost, as additional reseller margins are not added.

What after-sales support and warranty do you provide?
